Bit has significantly updated its U.S. stock account-opening and deposit bonuses. There are three stackable bonuses, with up to $310 in cash bonuses plus a series of benefits. In addition, there is also an ACATS transfer bonus of up to $300. This account can be opened entirely with a China identity and address; you can complete verification with a China ID card, and there is no China CRS. The promotion expires on October 31.

The three bonuses are as follows. The easiest path is to deposit $2,000 and make a few trades, which can earn a $110 bonus. That is pretty decent.

First tier: commission-free U.S. stock trading, a $100 fee offset card, and a 30-day market data card.

Second tier: additional deposit bonus of up to $200. You need to complete the deposit within 14 days of opening the account; after meeting the requirement, the 30-day holding period for the corresponding tier starts.

  • Deposit $1,500 and hold for 30 days to earn a $50 bonus
  • Deposit $3,000 and hold for 30 days to earn a $100 bonus
  • Deposit $10,000 and hold for 30 days to earn a $200 bonus

Third tier: make at least 3 cumulative trades to earn a $5 bonus; make at least 8 cumulative trades to earn $10 in total. This must be completed within 14 days of account opening, and each trade must be over $100.

The ACATS transfer bonus is as follows, with up to $300 available.

BIT: Invest Directly in Real U.S. Stocks with USDT

When many people first encounter BIT (formerly Matrixport), they think it is only a crypto wealth management platform. In fact, BIT officially launched U.S. stock trading services in 2026, becoming one of the few platforms in the industry to connect both “digital assets + U.S. stock investing.” Users do not need a traditional overseas bank card; as long as they hold USDT or USDC, they can directly invest in real U.S. stocks.

Supports Direct Deposits with USDT / USDC

Opening an account with a traditional brokerage usually requires:

  • An overseas bank card
  • International wire transfer
  • A longer wait for funds to arrive

BIT supports:

  • USDT deposits
  • USDC deposits
  • USD deposits by bank wire

Funds can arrive as fast as within seconds, and deposits can be made 24/7. For users who already hold digital assets, this means they can invest in U.S. stocks without extra currency conversion or cross-border transfers.

Trade Real U.S. Stocks, Not CFDs

This is the most noteworthy point about BIT. Many so-called “on-chain U.S. stocks” or “U.S. stock trading platforms” currently on the market actually offer:

  • Contracts for difference (CFDs)
  • Price-mapped products
  • Tokenized stocks

Investors only receive the gains or losses from price movements and do not truly own the corresponding shares. BIT, however, uses a model that connects directly with licensed brokers. Users purchase actual U.S. stock assets that are held, rather than price-mapped products. Investors can enjoy the corresponding shareholder rights, including dividends and voting rights.

Supports More Than 1,000 U.S. Stocks and ETFs

BIT connects to the U.S. market’s NBBO (National Best Bid and Offer) quotation system. It currently supports:

  • Nasdaq-listed companies
  • NYSE-listed companies
  • Major ETFs
  • Popular AI concept stocks
  • Technology growth stocks

It covers more than 1,000 U.S. stocks and ETF products. Common securities include:

  • NVIDIA (NVDA)
  • Microsoft (MSFT)
  • Apple (AAPL)
  • Tesla (TSLA)
  • Amazon (AMZN)
  • Meta (META)
  • QQQ ETF
  • SPY ETF

Security

According to information officially disclosed by BIT, BIT’s U.S. stock business uses a compliant structure that is commonly used in the international brokerage industry. BIT itself does not custody users’ stocks. This point is very important. Many people may think: “If I buy U.S. stocks on BIT, are the shares held by BIT?” In fact, they are not. BIT itself is mainly responsible for:

  • The account-opening process
  • The trading interface
  • Customer service
  • Account management
The U.S. stock assets and cash assets purchased by users are actually held within U.S.-licensed clearing institutions and brokerage systems. The partner institutions are all regulated by the U.S. SEC and FINRA. According to official disclosures, the current partner institutions include:
  • Clear Street
  • RQD Clearing
  • Atomic Vault Securities (AVS)

These institutions are all:

  • SEC-registered firms in the U.S.
  • FINRA-regulated firms
  • Licensed participants in the U.S. securities market

Relevant information can be publicly searched through the U.S. FINRA BrokerCheck system. What is the Omnibus IB structure? BIT's U.S. stock business uses the model commonly adopted by international brokerages: the Omnibus Introducing Broker (omnibus account) model. Put simply, users see their own separate accounts. At the U.S. clearing-firm level, all user assets are pooled into one large master account for clearing and custody. This model is widely used by:

  • International online brokers
  • Cross-border securities platforms
  • Global brokerages

It does not mean customer assets are being commingled. Customer assets are segregated from platform assets According to the official explanation, under the Omnibus model, customer assets and company assets must be managed separately. BIT is responsible for maintaining user-level:

  • Cash records
  • Position records
  • Trade records

Users can check their assets in the app at any time. In other words, the platform's operating funds are not directly mixed with customers' securities assets.

Why are crypto users starting to buy U.S. stocks?

Over the past two years, one very clear trend has emerged: many crypto users have started allocating to both:

  • BTC
  • ETH
  • AI-themed U.S. stocks
  • Nasdaq ETFs

The reason is simple: U.S. technology companies remain among the world's most profitable and innovative businesses. For long-term investors, holding both digital assets and U.S. stock assets can provide better global asset allocation. BIT is taking advantage of this demand by connecting the crypto world and the traditional securities market within a single account system.

Fees and comparison

Summary

If you already use Binance, Bybit, or other crypto platforms, BIT's biggest value is not just its wealth management products. Its biggest strengths are:

  • Buy U.S. stocks directly with USDT
  • Actual stock ownership, with U.S. stock licenses
  • Support for dividends and shareholder rights
  • More than 1,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs
  • Account opening completed in minutes

For investors who hold BTC, ETH, and stablecoins for the long term, BIT offers a very convenient way to allocate assets globally. In addition, they now support KYC account opening directly with an ID card, which is still fairly convenient. One point worth noting is that their main entity is in Bhutan, and Bhutan does not have diplomatic relations with China and does not participate in China's CRS.
