Bask Bank has a new account-opening bonus again. You can now earn up to a $300 cash bonus, and Savings can also get an extra 0.40% APY Boost. Based on the current 3.90% base rate, that means up to 4.30% APY in total. The requirements are much higher than before: you need to open both a Bask Interest Checking and a Bask Interest Savings account, maintain at least a $10,000 average balance in Savings each month, complete $2,500 in Qualifying Automated Deposits into Checking, and keep at least $100 in Checking every day. Each qualifying statement cycle earns $50, up to 6 times, for a total of $300.
If you calculate it as depositing $10,000 and earning $300 over six months, the effective annualized return is 6%. Add the 4.3% from the deposit itself, and the effective annualized return is about 10%. I’ve added it to the ranking as well!

About Bask Bank
Bask Bank is a U.S. online bank and a direct division of Texas Capital Bank. This means that although it has no physical branches, it is backed by a well-capitalized, FDIC-insured brick-and-mortar bank, providing protection for your deposits. Bask Bank’s main feature is offering high-yield savings accounts. Its business model is very straightforward: by waiving many of the fees charged by traditional banks and keeping operating costs low, it returns profits to depositors in the form of higher interest rates.
Account Opening Bonus
Bask Bank is now offering an account-opening bonus of up to $300, and eligible Savings accounts can also receive an extra 0.40% APY Boost. Based on the current 3.90% base APY, the total can be up to 4.30% APY during the qualifying period.
You need to open new Bask Interest Checking and Bask Interest Savings accounts and meet the following requirements during the bonus period. The application deadline for this offer is December 31, 2026.
- Maintain an average monthly balance of at least $10,000 in Bask Interest Savings
- Complete at least $2,500 in Qualifying Automated Deposits into Bask Interest Checking each month
- Maintain a daily balance of at least $100 in the Checking account
For each statement cycle in which you meet all requirements, you can receive a $50 cash bonus, for up to 6 consecutive statement cycles, meaning up to $300 total. At the same time, Savings can also receive an extra 0.40% APY Boost for up to the same 6 statement cycles. The Boost applies only to the first $250,000 of the average monthly balance.
The $2,500 in Qualifying Automated Deposits does not necessarily have to be payroll Direct Deposit. In addition to regular direct deposits from an employer, payroll provider, or government benefits, a recurring transfer set up from an external bank can also count, so it is fairly flexible to complete. However, checks, wires, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal and other P2P transfers, as well as transfers between internal Bask accounts, do not count.
Compared with the previous promotion that only required parking $1,500, this one requires putting aside $10,000 for up to 6 months, so the threshold is clearly much higher. Still, if you already have idle cash, the $300 bonus plus the current up to 4.30% APY makes the overall return pretty good.
Note that people who have done a Bask bonus before may not be eligible this time. If you or any joint account holder currently held, or closed, a Bask Interest Savings or Bask Interest Checking account within the 12 months before October 1, 2026, you are not eligible for this promotion.
